Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Cozy Servers is for playing Minecraft with the people you choose. This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to you and to everyone who uses your server.
Do not use the Service to
- Break the law, or help anyone else break it.
- Store, share or link to child sexual abuse material. We report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement.
- Harass, threaten, dox or bully anyone, or promote violence or hatred against people because of who they are.
- Host or spread malware, phishing pages, stolen accounts or other people's personal information.
- Infringe copyrights, trademarks or other rights, including by uploading mods, maps or other content you do not have the right to share.
- Mine cryptocurrency, or run anything other than the Minecraft server and the mods and plugins that go with it.
- Attack, scan or overload other systems, including denial-of-service attacks, or send spam.
- Run proxies, VPNs or bots unrelated to your Minecraft server.
- Get around resource limits, the whitelist system, or our security, or access servers and accounts that are not yours.
- Resell, rent out or share the Service as a hosting business of your own.
- Break the Minecraft EULA or Mojang's usage guidelines, including their rules on charging players.
Fair use of resources
Each server gets the memory and storage in its plan. Servers share physical hardware, so we may limit, pause or restart a server that uses so much processing power or network capacity that it harms other customers, and we will contact you about it where we reasonably can.
Enforcement
If we believe this policy has been broken, we may remove content, suspend the server or end the account. For serious or illegal activity we may act immediately and without refund, and we may share information with law enforcement. For anything less serious, we will usually contact you first so you can fix it.
Reporting abuse
To report a server that breaks this policy, email support@cozyservers.com with the server address and what you saw. For copyright complaints, see our Copyright Policy.
