Copyright Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
We respect the rights of creators, including the people who make the mods, maps and builds that players love. If you believe content on a Cozy Servers server infringes your copyright, you can ask us to remove it under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Sending a takedown notice
Send your notice to our designated agent (below). It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
- Where the material is: the server address and enough detail for us to find it.
- Your name, mailing address, phone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them.
Counter-notices
If we remove your content and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same agent with your signature, a description of the removed material and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your name, address and phone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or Maricopa County, Arizona, if you are outside the United States). We may restore the content 10 to 14 business days after we forward your counter-notice, unless the complaining party tells us it has filed a lawsuit.
Repeat infringers
We will close the accounts of customers who repeatedly infringe others' copyrights.
